Policy Statement:
Tenac Championship Coaching is committed to providing exceptional training and support to our athletes. In the event of an injury that temporarily prevents an athlete from participating in training sessions, we offer a “Hold” option to retain their placement with a coach and maintain their current monthly billing rate. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for placing an athlete on hold due to injury.
Eligibility for Hold:
- Injury-Related Holds: Membership holds are only permitted for injury-related reasons, as detailed in the Tenac Championship Coaching Athlete Hold Policy Due to Injury.
- Notification Requirement: Athletes must notify their coach and the Tenac Championship Coaching administrative team in writing as soon as possible after an injury occurs.
- Injury Confirmation: Holds are granted based on verified medical reasons. The injury must be significant enough to impede the athlete’s ability to participate in training sessions.
Hold Duration:
- Maximum Duration:Holds can be granted for a maximum period of 90 days, depending on the severity and nature of the injury as confirmed by a medical professional.
- Minimum Duration: Holds will be granted for a minimum period of 30 days.
Fees and Billing:
- Hold Fee: A fee of $50 per month will be charged to athletes to place their training on hold and retain their placement with their current coach. This fee will be charged in stead of the normal monthly fee.
- Billing Continuity: Athletes on hold will be billed at $50 per month during the hold period. This ensures that they maintain their placement and can resume training at the same rate once they are cleared to return.
Procedure for Placing an Athlete on Hold:
- Written Request: Athletes must submit a written request to place their training on hold, to the Tenac Championship Coaching administrative team or their coach.
- Approval: The administrative team will review the request and notify the athlete of the approval status within 5 business days.
- Billing Adjustments: Upon approval, the hold fee will be applied to the athlete’s account instead of their current monthly billing and will continue during the hold period.
Resuming Training
- Notification to Coach: Athletes must notify their coach and the administrative team in writing at least 7 days prior to resuming training.
- Billing Resumption: Regular billing will continue at the athlete’s current monthly rate upon the end of the hold period or upon the athlete’s return to training, whichever comes first.
- Non-Eligibility for Personal Reasons: Membership holds are not permitted for personal reasons, including taking time away from training for vacations, personal breaks, or other non-medical reasons.
Returning to Training:
- Reactivation Process: Athletes wishing to return to training after discontinuing their membership must contact Tenac Championship Coaching to request reactivation.
- Availability of Coaches: Returning athletes will be assigned to an available coach based on current coaching availability. The same coach may not be guaranteed upon return.
- Updated Pricing: Upon reactivation, athletes will be subject to the current pricing for coaching services at the time of their return. Previous pricing will not be honored.
Procedure for Discontinuing Coaching
- Notice of Discontinuation: Athletes must provide written notice to the Tenac Championship Coaching administrative team at least 30 days prior to discontinuing their membership.
- Final Billing: The athlete’s final billing cycle will occur at the end of the notice period, and no further charges will be incurred unless the athlete decides to reactivate their membership.
Policy Compliance:
Failure to adhere to the terms and conditions of this policy may result in the forfeiture of the athlete’s placement with their coach and adjustments to their billing rate.
Contact Information:
For questions or to submit a hold request, please contact the Tenac Championship Coaching administrative team at info@gotenac.com or have their coach contact the administration team.
