Rose grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Montana, and calls Columbia Falls, Montana home with her husband, Nelson, and daughter, Layla. Rose enjoyed a variety of sports growing up and through college, but she was nearly 30 years old when she discovered her talent in mountain bike racing.
As a new mom, Rose committed herself to exploring where the sport would take her. She quickly climbed the ranks nationally where she has earned 5x Elite National Marathon Mountain Bike Titles and 2x Leadville 100 MTB Titles, amongst many noteworthy career highlights. Rose finished 4th in the inaugural LifeTime Grand Prix series, which concluded her decade long career at the end of 2022.
Rose began working with Jason Tullous, head coach and founder of GoTenac, in 2015 and has continued through her retirement from racing. Now, Rose is a USA Cycling Certified Coach for GoTenac Championship Coaching. With a decade of high level racing experience, Rose understands the importance of having a good coach; and she now finds great fulfillment helping her athletes achieve their goals.
Rose has chosen to specialize her coaching efforts toward empowering women and Leadville focused athletes. She understands the demands that life contributes and is attentive to create training that compliments the athlete’s day to day life while best preparing them for their goals.
